It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the "Terroir" of the Douro region, and is expected to age positively in the bottle for many years after bottling.
Deep ruby in color, this Douro wine reveals itself to be intensely fruity, with spices and great finesse. A quite complex wine, yet fresh and elegant.
Buttery goat and sheep cheeses, traditional sausages, red meats, delicate and hearty dishes.
