MATER (from Latin Noun, Feminine): The nobility of the Viosinho, Gouveio Real, and Arinto grape varieties, combined with the soil and microclimate of the Douro region at altitude, have given this wine a unique personality and character.
Fermented in a stainless steel tank and aged with batonnage on the fine lees. Recommended consumption temperature: 10-12ºC.

It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the "Terroir" of the Douro region, and is expected to age positively in the bottle for about 4 to 5 years after bottling.
It has an intense, fruity aroma with elegant, fresh floral notes. The taste is smooth and delicate, with a fresh and persistent finish.
Sushi, pasta, risotto, and seafood, with its evolution in the bottle, will challenge us towards a more complex gastronomy.
